Asia Pacific Padel Academy landed in Phuket to certify future professional padel coaches. Last 8th and 9th of May the APPA team was doing the first L1 certification where the students were very happy.

This was the first APPA event in Phuket where we delivered the L1 certification. The mentor, Alex Domenech, taught the students the history of padel and the theoretical concepts needed to become a professional coach.
The day was the perfect temperature for the event and the students were very excited to start with the practical part. However, a good understanding of the theoretical concepts such as the fundamental values that belong to APPA or the evolution of padel in recent years is essential to perform the practical part with fluency.
Time to get on court! The students were doing technique exercises, tactical exercises and putting into practice all the theoretical concepts of padel.
After spending more than 8 hours on court, the students were assessed by the mentor with the final objective of achieving the L1 professional padel coach certificate.
